LINDA’S  LEGACY

On July 22, 2022, I lost my Granny, Linda Presgrove, to cancer.  She was of strong Christian faith and had a giving heart.  Making sure that her six grandchildren knew about the Lord was very important to her.  Every Christmas she had each of us six grandkids read the story of Jesus’ birth from the Bible.  Another tradition that she had with me and my little brother was for us three to get an angel off of an angel tree.  We would go together to pick out the present, wrap the present, and take it back, together.

Granny supported the Oklahoma Baptist Home for Children in a few ways.  She loved attending and supporting the Annual Style Show in Madill.  She also supported those kids when they went to OYE to show their animals.  She also volunteered at the Food Bank in Velma on a regular basis.

In honor of her, we wanted to start a new tradition, Linda’s Legacy.

If you feel it in your heart to give, we are accepting donations on behalf of the Oklahoma Baptist Home for Children, in Madill, and area Food Banks.  A portion of all sales of LINDA’S LEGACY Sweatshirts will be given to area Food Banks and the Oklahoma Baptist Home for Children in Madill.

A few things Granny would say; “God is Good”, “you are special”, and

“Jesus is the reason for the season”.

I am so thankful, grateful, and blessed for the memories and traditions that she made, and that her legacy will live on.
